About us

Stage 1: Delivery

The library is divided into 3 groups, cycled between three schools.

Stage 2: Activites Session

We organize a reading/exhibition session for the students, giving them the chance to ask an experienced science professional questions they could not get answers to in the books.

Stage 3: Science Fair

Students are given the chance to show their classmates, peers and parents what they have learnt over the term.

Stage 4: Report

Ours sponsors and supporters will be given a termly update to progress and impact of the science book tour.

Ghscientific is launching the Ghana Science Book Tour(GSBT) project to get science themed children’s books to primary schools across the country. As part of our efforts to promote the uptake of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) within the country, we want to help teachers get young pupils fascinated by science.

GSBT is aimed at pupils in upper primary (Class 4-6) and will be run for a year on a termly basis. To this end we have selected 3 schools to run with each year, which will involve deliverying the books available, organising a science fair based on content and a reading/activities session with an experienced science professional.
